Lorrie Sanchez launched Utterly Global as a grassroots anti-bullying campaign in her hometown of Cranford, NJ, after learning that a local boy was being bullied in school each day. Her proactive efforts sparked a district-wide initiative and resulted in the creation of Utterly Global, a company dedicated to eliminating bullying through the development of research-based products and professional development tools for educators. Lorrie attended Rutgers, The State University of New Jersey-Newark and is a graduate of the Entrepreneurial Pioneers Initiative
Carol Blank has been an educator for over thirty years. She attended the University of Salamanca, Salamanca, Spain. She received a Bachelor of Arts from American University, Washington, D.C. and a Master of Arts in Student Personnel Services from Kean University, Union, NJ. She holds NJ State Certification as a teacher, school social worker, guidance counselor and home instructor. She is I-Safe certified and has received special training in bullying prevention and intervention. Her work in the area of bullying over the past ten years includes conducting workshops for parents and school personnel, directing student seminars and activities, developing bullying prevention programs and providing consultation services for various school districts in the area of bullying prevention and developing anti-bullying initiatives.
Dr. Goorwitz , a clinical psychologist, is a member of Utterly Global’s advisory board. Dr. Goorwitz, a graduate of Rutgers University, has over 20 years experience working with children, adolescents, adults, couples and families from many backgrounds on a variety of issues. Dr. Goorwitz is currently serving on the anti-bullying subcommittee of the New of the Jersey Psychological Association's Public Education Committee and offers valuable input into Utterly Global’s curriculum development. She maintains a private practice in Westfield, NJ.
Dominick Bratti is a member of Utterly Global’s advisory board. Mr. Bratti is an attorney who limits his practice to employment law and labor relations with the law firm of Wilentz, Goldman and Spitzer, P.A. He is a member of the New Jersey Bar, U.S. Court of Appeals, Third Circuit and U.S. Court of Appeals, Seventh Circuit. He received his B.A. cum laude from Rutgers University and J.D. cum laude from Seton Hall University School of Law. Mr. Bratti is an active member of his community having served as councilman, member of the Planning Board, Environmental Commission and a scout leader.
Leslie Wentz holds a BSW and CSW from Kean University, Union, NJ,and MSW from Fordham University. She is a licensed social worker who has practiced within an institutional setting, taught at Kean College, Union , NJ. and is a member in good standing with NASW-NJ. Ms. Wentz provided guidance in developing and infusing cultural competence and diversity to the core content area of Utterly Global’s continuing education courses. She also assisted in the organization of learning objectives as the basis for evaluation of Utterly Global’s continuing education courses effectiveness and continues to facilitate, monitor, evaluate and update the continuing education courses.
Debroah Hampson has over 10 years of experience successfully developing and designing comprehensive training and programs for Utterly Global. She holds a B.A. in Elementary Education. Ms. Hampson was employed by the Elizabeth Board of Education for 31 years as an Elementary Classroom Teacher, Title I Reading and Math Teacher, Gifted and Talented Teacher, Resource Teacher and Staff Development Trainer. Her diverse background enables her to create staff development programs and training that are informative, engaging and relevant. Ms. Hampson’s work with younger children gave her tremendous insight and the ability to create the very successful early childhood anti-bullying program, “Let’s Be Friends”.
Wanda Jones-Hill is a training professional with over 24 years of experience in training, development, teambuilding, facilitation, instructional design and lead trainer for Utterly Global. In addition to leading our team of trainers she contributes to course development and design. She holds a Bachelor’s degree from Spelman College and is currently serving on the advisory board for Literacy Volunteers of Plainfield, NJ. Certifications include CHE and CHT designations, Certified Instructional Designer and Developer, Certified DiSC TM Personal Profile System Administration and Achieve Global-Adult Learning Principles. She is a member of ASTD (American Society of Training and Development and Pro-Literacy.
Tenesha Lynch holds a Bachelor's degree from the State University of New York at New Paltz, and Master's degrees in Educational Leadership and School Counseling from Saint Peter's College. She has held several positions of increasing leadership at colleges and universities in NY/NJ within the realm of student conduct, as well as served as an adjunct lecturer. Her professional expertise as a certified K-12 school counselor includes multicultural counseling, crisis counseling and individual/group counseling, in addition to volunteer work as a Teen-mentoring Program Coordinator in Hackensack, NJ.
